How much can you store under a super king ottoman?
The super king (180×200cm) has the largest storage cavity in the range — its extra width over the king gives you the most under-bed capacity of any bed we make. It easily holds multiple large suitcases, several duvet sets, spare pillows and bulky seasonal items together, effectively replacing a chest of drawers or a small wardrobe’s worth of space.
What size room do I need for a super king ottoman?
This is a bed for larger rooms. Allow a bedroom of at least 3.5×3.5m so both sides stay walkable and the base can lift fully. Because it’s 180cm wide, measure doorways, stairwells and landings before ordering. Our team delivers and fully assembles it in the room Ireland-wide within 7–14 days, so you don’t manoeuvre it yourself.
Super king ottoman or king ottoman — how do I decide?
Choose the super king (180×200cm) for maximum sleeping width and the biggest storage cavity, if your room can take it. The king (150×200cm) stores plenty and fits standard double bedrooms more easily. The 30cm of extra width is the deciding factor: pick the super king only when both the room and the appetite for storage are generous.
Does the extra width affect how the gas-lift works?
No. The gas strut is specified for the full 180cm base, so the whole platform still rises smoothly and holds open on its own while you load or unload. Because the frame — including the lift mechanism — is solid Hevea Maple hardwood rather than MDF over steel, the wider base stays rigid and lifts evenly without flex across its span.
