The material
The difference is the wood
Hevea Maple (rubberwood) is a dense, close-grained hardwood — comparable to oak in strength and heavier than it looks. You feel it the moment you sit down: no flex, no creak. And it's timber that already gave decades of latex before it became furniture.

While it lives
First, the latex
For around thirty years the rubber tree is tapped for natural latex — the breathable core of every Spinery mattress.
When tapping ends
Then, the wood
Once its latex years are over, the tree would once have been burned. Instead the dense hardwood is saved and seasoned.

That timber becomes a Heava frame — solid Hevea hardwood, designed in Ireland and built to stay square and silent for a generation.
