Lounge Chairs

Solid Wood Lounge & Swivel Chairs

Solid wood lounge and swivel chairs, designed in Ireland — a hardwood frame and a smooth solid-wood swivel base, not a plastic mechanism on a foam shell. A generous swivel lounge chair for reading and relaxing, and a compact swivel armchair for tighter corners. Free white-glove delivery and assembly Ireland-wide.

How to choose

Choose on scale. The swivel lounge chair is the larger, deeper seat — the one you sink into beside the fire; the swivel armchair is a slimmer occasional chair for a bedroom, home office or a spare corner of the living room. Both turn a full circle, so allow clearance around the base.

Why solid hardwood

Every Heava piece is solid hardwood the whole way through — no MDF, veneer or particleboard, right down to the drawer bases and backs. It's a dense, oak-like timber that wears in rather than out. More about the wood we use.

Materials & care

Wipe the timber frame with a dry cloth and keep the swivel base free of grit. Rotate and plump the seat cushion so it wears evenly.

Free white-glove delivery & assembly

Delivery is free anywhere in Ireland — we bring it into the room, assemble it, and take the packaging away. Everything is designed in Ireland by the makers of The Spinery.

Frequently asked

Is the swivel base solid wood too?
Yes — the base and frame are solid hardwood, with a smooth turning mechanism, rather than a plastic swivel plate on a foam body.
What's the difference between the lounge chair and the armchair?
The lounge chair is larger and deeper — a proper relaxing seat — while the armchair is a slimmer, more compact occasional chair for smaller spaces.
Do the chairs recline?
They swivel a full circle but do not recline. The seat and back are angled for comfortable, upright lounging.
Are they delivered assembled?
Yes — free white-glove delivery and assembly across Ireland, brought into the room and set up, with packaging removed.
