Who runs this website
Heava is a trading name of The Spinery Limited, a company registered in Ireland (company number 578187), registered office 70 Lower Mounttown Road, Dún Laoghaire, Co. Dublin. The Spinery Limited is responsible for the cookies described here. Heava and The Spinery are sister brands that share the Monkstown showroom.
What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file a website stores on your device so it can recognise your browser — either for the length of your visit (a "session" cookie) or across visits (a "persistent" cookie). We also use a few similar technologies, like browser storage, for the same purposes. Cookies set by heava.co are "first-party"; cookies set by services we use (like Google or Stripe) are "third-party".
How we ask for your consent
When you first visit, a banner asks which cookies you're happy with. Strictly necessary cookies (and our spam/fraud checks) are always on because the site can't work without them. Everything else — analytics and any advertising — stays off until you opt in. We use Google Consent Mode v2, so Google's tags start in a limited, cookieless state and only set cookies or send data once you allow them. You can review or change your choice at any time via "Cookie settings" at the bottom of any page, and we keep a record of the consent you give.

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand, in aggregate, how the site is used so we can improve it.

Advertising — only with your consent
We do not currently run advertising cookies. If we start running Google Ads in the
future, and only after you opt in, Google may set a cookie such as _gcl_au (typically
~90 days) to measure which ads lead to visits or orders. We'll update this table before that happens.
Managing cookies in your browser
Besides our banner, you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or set it to warn you before a cookie is stored. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the site (like the booking form or checkout) from working. To opt out of Google Analytics specifically, you can also use Google's opt-out add-on.
