A grand emperor is 215×215cm — the largest size we make and almost perfectly square. It’s around 35cm wider and 15cm longer than a standard emperor (200×200cm), and roughly 80cm wider than a double. This is a statement, palatial-scale bed for very large main bedrooms, giving practically limitless space for two adults and any early-morning visitors.
Will a grand emperor fit a normal bedroom?
Honestly, no. At 215×215cm the frame alone is over two metres square, so an average Irish bedroom won’t leave usable walking space around it.
