Terms & Conditions

Terms & Conditions

These terms cover buying from Heava. They sit alongside — and never replace — your statutory rights as a consumer under Irish and EU law.

Who we are

Heava sells solid Hevea Maple bed frames and bedroom furniture, designed in Ireland. We're the sister brand to The Spinery and share a showroom at 70 Mounttown Road Lower, Monkstown, Co. Dublin. You can reach us at hey@heava.co or (01) 247 8889.

Ordering

When you place an order, you're making an offer to buy. A contract is formed once we confirm your order. We may decline or cancel an order — for example if an item is unavailable or a price was listed in error — in which case we'll refund any payment in full.

Prices & payment

Prices are shown in euro and include VAT where applicable. We take payment securely at checkout. We make every effort to ensure prices are correct; if a clear pricing error occurs, we'll contact you before processing your order and you can confirm at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.

Delivery & assembly

Free delivery and in-room assembly are included across the Republic of Ireland. Full details, and the steps involved, are on our Delivery & Assembly page. We'll arrange a delivery date with you after you order. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery; ownership passes once payment is received in full.

Returns & cancellation

You have a 14-day right to cancel an online order, and your rights are protected if anything is damaged or faulty. The full process is set out on our Returns & Refunds page.

Quality & your statutory rights

Our frames are built from solid hardwood and made to last. Under the Sale of Goods and Supply of Services legislation, goods must be of merchantable quality, fit for purpose and as described — these rights apply regardless of anything in these terms. If a frame doesn't meet that standard, contact us and we'll put it right.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything that can't be excluded under Irish law. Beyond that, we're not liable for losses that weren't reasonably foreseeable at the time you ordered.

Privacy

We handle your personal data in line with our Privacy Policy.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, and the Irish courts have jurisdiction. You may also be able to use the EU's Online Dispute Resolution platform.
