Why solid hardwood

Every Heava piece is solid hardwood the whole way through — no MDF, veneer or particleboard, right down to the drawer bases and backs. It's a dense, oak-like timber that wears in rather than out. More about the wood we use.

Materials & care

Wipe with a dry or barely-damp cloth and lift rather than drag it to protect the legs. Use a coaster under drinks — solid timber can ring if liquid sits.
