Sofas

Solid Wood Sofas

Our sofas are built on a solid hardwood frame — not hollow steel or particleboard — so the couch stays square and silent for decades rather than sagging in a few years. Two lengths on the same design, in a Natural or Walnut finish, designed in Ireland with free white-glove delivery and assembly.

How to choose

Both sofas share the same design and 100 cm depth — pick on length. The 3-seat (280 cm) suits a main living room and seats three comfortably; the 2m version is the same settee shortened for a snug, apartment or a second reception room. Measure your doorways and the wall run before ordering, and leave roughly 45 cm to walk past.

Why solid hardwood

Every Heava piece is solid hardwood the whole way through — no MDF, veneer or particleboard, right down to the drawer bases and backs. It's a dense, oak-like timber that wears in rather than out. More about the wood we use.

Materials & care

Wipe the timber frame with a dry or barely-damp cloth. Plump and rotate the seat cushions regularly so they wear evenly, and keep the frame out of direct radiator heat to protect the grain.

Free white-glove delivery & assembly

Delivery is free anywhere in Ireland — we bring it into the room, assemble it, and take the packaging away. Everything is designed in Ireland by the makers of The Spinery.

Frequently asked

Is the sofa frame really solid wood?
Yes — the whole frame is solid hardwood, not a steel or particleboard box hidden under the upholstery. That is what keeps a couch from creaking and sagging over time.
What's the difference between the 3-seat and the 2m sofa?
They are the same sofa — same frame, same depth, same cushions — the 2m is simply shorter. Choose the 3-seat (2.8m) for a main living room and the 2m for a smaller room.
Do you deliver and assemble the sofa?
Yes. Free white-glove delivery and assembly is included anywhere in Ireland — we bring it into the room, set it up and take the packaging away.
What finishes are available?
A Natural (light) and a Walnut (dark) finish on the solid hardwood frame. Both are on display at our Monkstown showroom.

Our timber is upcycled at the end of the rubber tree's working life — a sustainable hardwood that would otherwise be burned. Our sustainability story.
