The Solid Wood Sofa — 2m is the compact two-metre version of our hardwood-frame sofa, built on a solid Hevea Maple frame and designed in Ireland. At 200cm wide it fits smaller living rooms, snugs and apartments where a full three-seater would crowd the space, seating two to three on an upholstered seat over a genuine solid-wood frame. There is no MDF, veneer or particleboard beneath — just real hardwood engineered for daily use. Same buy-once durability as the larger model, sized for rooms that ask for a lighter footprint.

Common questions
How is the 2m different from the 3-Seat?
It is the same sofa in a more compact size. The 2m measures 200cm wide against the 3-Seat's 280cm, while depth and height stay the same at 100cm and 92cm. That shorter width suits smaller living rooms, snugs and apartments, seating two to three rather than a full three. The frame, materials and buy-once build are identical to the larger model.
What size room does it suit?
At 200cm wide, 100cm deep and 92cm high, the 2m works well in smaller living rooms, snugs, apartments and second reception rooms where a three-metre sofa would dominate. Allow just over two metres of wall space plus a little clearance. It gives you a proper solid-frame sofa without overwhelming a compact room, and pairs neatly with an armchair or swivel chair.
Is the frame solid wood or does it hide MDF?
The frame is solid Hevea Maple hardwood throughout, with no MDF, chipboard, veneer or softwood hidden beneath the upholstery. It carries an upholstered seat mounted on that solid hardwood frame. Choosing a smaller sofa does not mean a lesser build — the 2m is engineered to the same buy-once standard as the 3-Seat, just in a lighter footprint.
Is delivery and assembly included?
Yes. Delivery across Ireland is free and includes full in-room assembly, so the sofa is ready to use where you place it. Expect a lead time of around 7 to 14 days. Designed in Ireland and built on a solid Hevea Maple frame, the 2m is a considered long-term purchase sized for rooms that need a smaller, well-made sofa.
